Google reviews
What our clients say.
These are all 3 of our Google reviews. They're about website and Google profile work.
★★★★★Rated 5 out of 5 on Google
“What can I say!? Absolutely outstanding service, James has totally transformed my company website to a level I never expected! From going live on Saturday the 17th of October I have already had 3 enquiries!!!! We are now on the 19th of October writing this review.
He has been absolutely none stop back and forth with questions and suggestions throughout the whole process. Just absolutely Brilliant! I would not hesitate to recommend this guy.
There are a lot of people out there that promise the world and then take your money and completely under deliver, trust me I know this as I have been burnt quite a few times. This is definitely not the case with James. Give him a try you will not be disappointed! Thanks James I absolutely love the new site. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”

The problem
A profile set up once and left won't win the map.
Your profile is how customers nearby find you, check you out and call. If it's half finished or out of date, Google has less to match to a local search.
What your profile does
What a Google Business Profile does for an installer.
Your Google Business Profile is your free online listing on Search and Maps. It's how Google enables local businesses to reach customers nearby, who find you, check you out and call, often before they visit your website.
Puts you on the map
Your GBP is where your business appears in the map results when someone searches "solar panels near me". No profile, no place in the map results, however good your website is.
Answers the first questions
A customer sees your services, hours, service area and reviews online before they click through to your site. Get those right and the call often comes straight from the profile.
Turns a search into a call
Call, website and directions buttons sit right on your profile. One tap and the customer is talking to you, not the next installer down the list.
Shows your profile performance
Google shows GBP owners the search terms people used to find them, and how many called or clicked through to their website. Real analytics, not guesses.
Your GBP doesn't replace your website. They work together: your profile wins the click in the map results, and your website wins the search below them. That's why our renewable energy websites and SEO build both.
It's also a platform where a local installer can beat the national brands. Google says there's no way to pay for a better local ranking, so a small business with a complete profile and real reviews has a fair shot against the big names. More calls from the people nearest you means more jobs and more revenue, without paying per lead.
What we set up and fix
All the settings Google checks, done for you.
Whether it's brand new or was set up once and left, we fill in everything Google uses to match your business to a local search. Properly, once.
The right business categories
Google asks for as few categories as possible, and as specific as possible. We choose the ones that describe what your business is, so you show up for the right searches.
Every service you install
Solar panels, battery storage, EV chargers, heat pumps: we add each one to the services menu on your profile, so customers see exactly what you do and Google can match you to each search.
Your service areas
We set the towns you cover. If customers don't come to your location, Google's guidelines say to hide your address, so we do that too.
Hours, contact details and description
Your business information, such as opening hours, phone number and website, the same as everywhere else you're listed online, and a description that says what you install and where. One click to call.
Your own photos
We add real photos of your installs, your van and your team, never stock images. A customer wants to see work like theirs, done by the people who'll turn up.

Signs your profile needs fixing
Your category is general, like "Electrician", when you install solar.
Battery storage, EV chargers or heat pumps aren't on your list of services.
Your hours don't match your website or your other online listings.
Your home address shows, but customers never visit.
No photos, or only a logo and stock images.
Customer reviews with no reply from you.
If any of these sound like your GBP, it's worth fixing before you spend a penny on ads or other marketing. That's what our £247 optimisation is for.

Real profiles, measured honestly.

Average map position for the search "solar panels", across 49 points round Retford, 10 to 19 October 2026. Lower is better.
The honest bit. We're not taking the credit for this one. Most of the move came before their new website went live, and the cause isn't clear yet. We show it because it's what we measure for every client: real map positions, every month.
Which Google Business Profile package do you need?
Search your business name on Google, then pick the card that matches what you see. Still not sure? Choose "Not sure" on the form and we'll look and tell you.
No call centre, no forms to chase. You deal with the two people doing the work.
Pick your package
Setup, Optimisation or Management. Tell us what you install, the towns you cover, and send a link to your profile if you have one. Two minutes on the form below.
We look at your GBP
We search for your business the way a customer would, check what's there, what's missing and what's wrong, and reply personally, usually the same day.
You add us as a manager
Your GBP lives in your own Google account. You add us from "People and access", so you stay the owner and never share a password.
We create it or fix it
Categories, services, areas, hours, contact details, description and your photos, all done properly, checked against Google's guidelines and done in days.
Verified, then kept working
A brand new GBP has to be verified by the owner before it shows, and we walk you through it. Our Google Business Profile verification guide has the steps. On the monthly plan, we keep it working.
Who does it
Two people. No account managers.
The two people you talk to are the two people who work on your GBP.
James, the Google specialist. Over ten years of SEO, starting at 18 on his own websites. He's read Google's patents and never worked for an agency.
Stephanie, the energy insider. 13+ years in the energy industry, so your services, wording and photos are right for your customers.
Straight answers, fast. Same-day replies to your messages, seven days a week, 6am to midnight.
“We will never lie to a client, even when telling the truth costs us money.”

Is it right for you?
It suits installers and trades whose customers search near them.
It's right for you if you install energy kit, and you want to show up on the map when people nearby search.
It's not right for you if you already have our SEO, which looks after your profile. You don't need both.
Kept working every month
Just your profile, or full local SEO?
A GBP isn't a one-off job. Google Business Profile management looks after your visibility in the map results. Our renewable energy SEO is the bigger step, full local SEO: your profile plus a website page for every service and town, so you win the searches below the map too.

Not sure which you need? Start with Setup or Optimisation, then add monthly upkeep when you want it kept working. Your GBP stays yours either way.
Why your profile matters
How Google picks the businesses in the map results.
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence. There's no way to pay for a better local ranking, so your profile has to earn it.
1
Relevance
How well your profile matches the search.
The right categories and every service listed let Google match you to "solar panels", "battery storage" and "heat pump installers" in a local search. This is what Setup and Optimisation fix.
We fix this
2
Distance
How far you are from the person searching.
Google uses your business location and the location of the customer searching. You can't move, and nobody honest will promise otherwise. That's why the other two matter so much: they're the parts you can change.
Nobody can change this
3
Prominence
How well known your business is.
Google says reviews and links from other websites count towards it. Reviews after every install are part of our monthly Management. Local listings and links from real local sites are part of our SEO.
Monthly work
Your GBP is often seen before your website. For someone searching for an installer near them, it puts your stars, photos, hours and a call button in one place. A complete, accurate profile is also more likely to show in local results, Google says. Learn more in our guide on how to rank higher on Google Maps.
Guides

Search your business name on Google. If no profile comes up, you need Setup, £297. If your profile shows but it's half-finished, with few photos, few reviews or old details, you need Optimisation, £247. If it's in good shape but nobody keeps it up, you need Management, £147 a month. Half-finished and no time to keep it up? Start with Optimisation, then add Management. Still not sure? Choose "Not sure" on the form and we'll tell you.
How much does Google Business Profile optimisation cost?
£247, one-off, to optimise a profile that was set up and left. Setting up a brand new profile is £297, one-off. If you want it managed every month after that, Management is £147 a month. The profile itself costs nothing.
What's the difference between Setup and Optimisation?
Setup is for installers with no Google profile yet: we build it from scratch and walk you through verification. Optimisation is for a profile that already exists but was set up once and left: we fix and fill in every part, so it can win the map spots in your town.
Is a Google Business Profile free?
Yes. A Google Business Profile is completely free, and Google says so itself: creating one and listing your business costs nothing. You pay us for the time it takes to do it properly, not for the profile.
Do you offer Google Business Profile management services?
Yes. Our management service is £147 a month. Each month we add fresh posts and photos of your installs, reply to every review, keep your information up to date and send you a plain-English report on your profile performance. We don't run your social media, just your GBP.
How long does it take?
Setup and Optimisation are done in days. A brand new profile then has to be verified by the owner; Google says verification reviews take up to five working days. We walk you through it.
Is a GMB optimisation service the same thing?
Yes. Google My Business (GMB) was renamed Google Business Profile in November 2021. A GMB optimisation service and a GBP optimisation service are the same job, and many people still use the old name.
Can you get me into the top three on Google Maps?
Nobody honest can promise that. Google says there's no way to request or pay for a better local ranking. What we can do is make your profile match what customers search for, and give Google every reason to show it. Here's what moves the map results.
Do I need to give you my password?
No. Google lets an owner add a profile manager, and we each keep our own Google accounts. Managers can edit your details and reply to reviews, but can't remove you or delete the profile. You stay the owner.
Will you buy reviews for me?
Never. Google bans paying for reviews, offering anything in return for them and only asking happy customers. Fake reviews have also been banned under UK law since 6 April 2025. We help you ask every customer, properly. Our guide on how to get more Google reviews shows how.
My profile has been suspended. Can you help?
Start with our guide to a suspended Google Business Profile. It explains why it happens and how to ask Google to reinstate it. If you're still stuck after that, message us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Do I need a Google Business Profile for each location?
Usually not. Google's guidelines say a service-area business should have one profile for its central office or location, with a service area set. If you have more than one staffed office customers can visit, each can have its own. We'll tell you which applies to you.
Do you work with heat pump and heating installers too?
Yes. We work with UK solar, battery, heat pump and heating installers, and with trades such as plumbers, roofers, electricians and builders. We add the categories and services for what you actually install, not a copy of someone else's.
