How do installers get found on Google?
SEO for EV charger installers with the plan and the price up front
SEO for EV charger installers comes down to three places: the government's list, Google Maps and your own pages for home and business work. We set up all three for you. We have no EV clients yet, so judge us on the plan and the guarantee. £495 a month, no contract.
Free, no obligation. We only take one installer per trade in each area.
The 6 + 6 Guarantee

Grant pages
The grants changed in April, so old pages are now wrong.
The government raised the main rate and closed some schemes from 1 April 2026. An EV charging page with old figures loses trust, and your competitors may not have caught up. If you can claim these, say so and keep it current.
What your grant page has to get right
- Up to £500 for renters and flat owners, and for households with on-street parking
- Up to £500 a socket on the workplace scheme (up to 40) and for landlords (up to 200)
- Up to £2,000 a socket for state-funded education
- Don't fit early: on the new platform, customers must wait for OZEV's notice before the install
- Your claim needs photos, including a close-up and a wide view
Available until 31 March 2027. Sources: GOV.UK grants and the April 2026 changes, read on 3 November 2026.
What we'd do
Six jobs that get charger installers found in local search.
All these services are in the £495, every month.
Local citations and the lists that rank
GOV.UK's finder lists OZEV approved installers, and it ranks second. If you're on it, check your entry. The same goes for each maker's list and your local citations.
Your Google Business Profile
Your real name, your service area and photos of finished jobs. The map sits lower here than on most trades, but it's still where local firms can win in local search.
A page per charger brand
Some drivers pick the unit first. If you fit a brand, give it a page, and only say you're an installer approved by that maker if you really are.
A commercial page
Sites you've done, how you plan a job, and how to get a quote. It's written for an office manager, not a driver.
A way in for electricians
Electricians and electrical contractors should keep charger work separate. General searches bring general call-outs.
Reviews and a monthly report
A short link after each job, because Google says reviews can help local rankings, then a plain-English report on what moved and what didn't.
Our proof
We've never done SEO for an EV installer.
No client results, no case study and no reviews from this trade. Almost nobody searches for a service like this, so we've kept the page short. Here's what we'd do, and what backs it up instead.
What we can stand behind: James has 10+ years in SEO and Stephanie 13+ years in the energy industry. Our guarantee sits on enquiries, agreed in writing. Our other client results are on our results page, and none are for this work.
What it costs
The same price as our other SEO. No contract.
No per-lead fees and no tie-in. You stay because it's working.
- When it pays for itself
- Divide £495 by what a job leaves you. One business job may cover several months, and that's your sum to do, not ours.
- How fast it works
- A neglected Google profile can move within weeks. New pages usually take a few months to settle.
- Need a site first?
- A website is £600 one-off. We don't sell leads.

Is it right for you?
It suits installers with room for more charger work.
It's right for you if you can take on more charger work, and you can give it a few months, because SEO builds month on month.
It's not right for you if you need installs in the diary this week. Ads are quicker, and we'll say so.
Who's looking
Charger installation has two buyers: a driver and a business.
Drivers search in big numbers, and national firms chase them. Searches for commercial charger installs are smaller, but advertisers pay far more per click for them. That's a hint they're worth more, and Ahrefs scores the main one at 0 for difficulty. If you can do that work, it's where we'd look first.
| Search | A month, UK | Difficulty | Cost per click | The page for it |

Questions
Questions we expect from you.
Want to contact us first? You'll get a straight answer, usually the same day.
Ask us on WhatsAppWhy would I hire you with no EV results?
You might not, and that's fair. If you do, it's because the local SEO method carries over, the price is published, and the guarantee puts our fee on the line for enquiries.
Is this growth marketing for electric vehicles in general?
No. We don't do growth marketing for electric vehicles in general. It's local work for installers: your profile, your web pages and your reviews. We don't run ads or PR. See our renewable energy SEO page for how the service works across trades.
What does one installer per area mean?
We take one installer per trade in the town where they're based. It doesn't cover everywhere they're willing to travel.
Will you say I'm OZEV approved?
Only if the GOV.UK list shows you. We check it before we write it, and the same goes for any maker's approval.
