The problem
What people check before they ring a tree surgeon
Tree work is dangerous, and people know it. These are the questions a tree surgeon's website has to answer before anyone lets you near their garden.
Are you qualified?
Chainsaw work needs proper training. Showing your NPTC City & Guilds or Lantra certificates, and Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor status if you hold it, answers the question straight away.
Are you insured?
A falling limb can do a lot of damage. Your public liability insurance, shown clearly, matters more on a tree surgeon's site than almost any other trade.
Is our tree protected?
Trees with a tree preservation order, or in a conservation area, usually need the council's say-so first. Explaining that you can check and handle it takes a worry away.
Can you come after a storm?
For a tree on a roof or blocking a drive, speed wins. A clear emergency line and the areas you cover get you that call.
What's on your site
The pages a tree surgeon's website needs
Google ranks pages, not businesses. Each job you want more of gets its own page, written for what people actually type in.
yoursite.co.uk/tree-felling-and-removal
Tree felling and removal
Full removals and sectional felling in tight gardens, with photos that show how carefully you work near houses.
yoursite.co.uk/crown-reduction-and-pruning
Crown reduction and pruning
Reductions, crown thinning and lifting for people who want more light, not less tree. Often your best-paid regular work.
yoursite.co.uk/stump-grinding
Stump grinding
A job people search for on its own, and a simple add-on to felling. A short page with clear pricing guidance.
yoursite.co.uk/emergency-tree-work
Emergency tree work
Storm damage and fallen trees. Short, fast and built around one big call button for people in a hurry.
yoursite.co.uk/hedge-cutting-and-reduction
Hedge cutting and reduction
Overgrown conifers and tall hedges, the steady work that fills the gaps between bigger jobs.
yoursite.co.uk/area-pages
Area pages
A page for each town you cover, so you show up when people search "tree surgeon near me" where you actually work.

Who builds it
Two people. No handoffs.
There's no account manager and no junior. The two people you talk to are the two people who build your site.
Stephanie designs it, from the layout to your branding. She brings 13+ years in the energy industry, and an eye for what makes a homeowner trust a firm.
James builds it for Google. He plans every page around what homeowners search for, and tests on our own sites first.
You deal with us directly. Same-day replies, seven days a week, from 6am to midnight.

One firm per trade, per area
Your town is yours.
We take one firm per trade in the town where they're based. It doesn't cover everywhere they're willing to travel. Once we build your website, we won't take on another firm in your trade based in your town. Plenty of designers build for the firm down the road. We won't.
What's the difference between web design for tree surgeons and a normal website?
A normal website describes your business. A tree surgeon's website is built around how people choose someone for dangerous work: proof of qualifications and insurance, photos of careful work near houses, and a fast way to call when a storm brings a tree down. Each job you want more of also gets its own page.
Can you show our NPTC tickets and Arboricultural Association approval?
Yes. Your certificates, insurance and Approved Contractor status go where people decide who to call, with a link to check where one exists. We only show what you actually hold, so it stays accurate and nobody can catch you out.
Should our website mention tree preservation orders?
It's worth it. Many homeowners don't know their tree might be protected, and the ones who do worry about getting it wrong. A short, plain explanation and a note that you can check for them builds trust and brings in people who want the job done properly.
Can customers send us photos of their tree through the site?
Yes. The quote form can take a photo or two, so you can see the tree, the access and anything nearby before you decide whether to visit. It saves you wasted trips for jobs you wouldn't take on, and gives you a better idea of the kit and crew you'll need.
Do we need to write anything?
No. We write every page for you from a short set-up call about your services, areas, qualifications and the work you want more of. You just approve it and send some photos of finished jobs. Phone photos are fine if they're sharp and well lit.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Pay upfront and it's yours from day one. On the monthly plan, it's yours after the 12th payment. Your domain stays in your name throughout.
What does hosting cost after the first year?
The first year is included. After that, keep it with us for £20 a month, with small changes free while we host it. Or take your website files and host it anywhere. No lock-in.
What if I don't like the design?
Then you owe nothing. If you like the style, we fine-tune the details as we build. If it's not for you at all, we can try a completely different design, or you can walk away.
