The problem
What people check before they hire a plasterer
Every bump shows once the paint goes on. These are the questions a plasterer website has to answer in the first few seconds.
How good is the finish?
Close-up photos of freshly skimmed walls and ceilings, taken in good light, sell your work better than any description of it.
Will you make a mess?
Homeowners worry about dust on everything. Saying how you protect floors and furniture, and that you clean up, takes the worry away.
Do you do render too?
Rendering is a big separate job. Showing finished K-Rend or monocouche houses, and before and after shots, tells people you can take it on.
Is there artex in our house?
Older artex can contain asbestos, so people are rightly cautious. Explaining that it should be tested first, and how you handle it, builds trust.

Who builds it
Two people. No handoffs.
There's no account manager and no junior. The two people you talk to are the two people who build your site.
Stephanie designs it, from the layout to your branding. She brings 13+ years in the energy industry, and an eye for what makes a homeowner trust a firm.
James builds it for Google. He plans every page around what homeowners search for, and tests on our own sites first.

One firm per trade, per area
Your town is yours.
We take one firm per trade in the town where they're based. It doesn't cover everywhere they're willing to travel. Once we build your website, we won't take on another firm in your trade based in your town. Plenty of designers build for the firm down the road. We won't.
Plastering is sold on the finish, so the site is built around photos: close-ups of skimmed walls, ceilings and render, in good light. Each job gets its own page, and the quote form takes room sizes and photos so you can price work without driving round to look.
Should rendering have its own page?
Yes, if you want more of it. People search for K-Rend, monocouche and house rendering separately from plastering, and it's usually your higher-value work. Its own page, with before and after photos of whole houses, gives it a fair chance to be found.
Do websites for plasterers need to mention asbestos?
If you skim or remove artex, it helps. Artex from before the 2000s can contain asbestos, and many homeowners have heard that. A short, calm note that it should be tested first shows you know what you're doing. We keep it accurate and never overstate it.
Can the site win work from builders as well as homeowners?
Yes. A separate page for builders and developers shows the extensions, conversions and new builds you plaster, so trade work has its own way in. Homeowners still see the domestic pages, so neither group gets confused. The site makes clear you take on both kinds of work.
Do we need to write anything?
No. We write every page for you from a short set-up call about your jobs, areas and the work you want more of. You just approve it. If you would rather write something yourself, like a few lines about how you started, we will tidy it up and fit it in. Changes after launch are simple too.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Pay upfront and it's yours from day one. On the monthly plan, it's yours after the 12th payment. Your domain stays in your name throughout.
What does hosting cost after the first year?
The first year is included. After that, keep it with us for £20 a month, with small changes free while we host it. Or take your website files and host it anywhere. No lock-in.
What if I don't like the design?
Then you owe nothing. If you like the style, we fine-tune the details as we build. If it's not for you at all, we can try a completely different design, or you can walk away.
